Celebrate the local community with a Neighborhood Party!

On Sunday, August 4th, 2024, Ruthmere is hosting the second annual Christiana Neighborhood Day (previously called Beardsley Neighborhood Day). We invite our neighbors from throughout the Christiana Neighborhood to visit the Quilt Garden Green to celebrate our community and learn about local organizations. Everyone is welcome to attend! This is a FREE event for both neighbors and the general public. 

BIG FUN will be had by all as we invite neighborhood residents, Ruthmere members and the general public to mingle while exploring the Ruthmere grounds. A kids bounce house worthy of a mansion is provided by Sonora Party Rentals and Mendia's Mexican Pizza food truck will be on site offering tasty food and drink for purchase. The event will take place alongside our Free Family Sunday & Ice Cream Social - meaning that free tours of Ruthmere will take place from 1-4 pm and free ice cream will be available for all visitors.

If you are a Christiana Neighborhood resident, sign up for your free Ruthmere Good Neighbor membership and learn how to become involved in the newly formed Christiana Neighborhood Association (CNA). 

LEARN about the importance and advantages of the National Register Beardsley Avenue Historic District, cultural attractions and parks within walking distance, local businesses, places of worship, and the great lifestyle to be found by living in the Christiana Neighborhood.
