Greenhouse & Garden Workshops |
Join us in the greenhouse for our yearly Greenhouse & Garden Workshops at Ruthmere! These short presentations are fun, educational, and a great way to collaborate with other gardeners from around town. And as an added bonus, you'll get an inside look at Ruthmere's lush, historic greenhouse conservatory, once used by Elizabeth Beardsley herself in the 1910's and 20's. Discover new plants for your garden, gain a new gardening skill, or learn some fun facts about gardening history. Don't miss out! 2022 Workshops: July 9 - "How Plants and Flowers Have Been Used Historically in Pandemics" with Gwen Ferland 2pm August 6- - "The Roots of Gardening at Ruthmere: Firsthand Accounts" with Rusty Ritchie and Ron Wolschlager 2pm
