Gallery Talk- The History of Baseball in Elkhart County

Jenifer Blouin Policelli, Curator of Education, Elkhart County Historical Museum, will present a Gallery Talk on "The History of Baseball in Elkhart County", on Friday, May 2nd at 11 am at Ruthmere. From the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League to the Negro Leagues to the MLB, Elkhart County has produced its fair share of professional baseball players. Elkhart County Historical Museum staff will take us back in time at the ballpark during this presentation about the role baseball played in the history of Elkhart County. 

Gallery Talks feature a twenty-minute discussion on an object/artwork within the Ruthmere collection or a person or event in local history. Our Gallery Talks are free and open to the public.
