Patriotic Program Series and Blue Star Museum
The Beardsley family has a long tradition of civic involvement -- the idea of America as a unique political experiment is reflected in this series of celebrations honoring our country and the men and women who serve it. Ruthmere is a proud participant in the Blue Star Museum program -- free admission to all active duty service men and women including their families. On the following listed holidays, each visitor will receive a free American flag with their tour. The 2019 Patriotic Program Series and Blue Star Museum participation is sponsored in part by the Elkhart Noon Rotary Club.
May 18 - Beginning of Blue Star Museums - September 2nd

Ruthmere has been a proud participant in the National Blue Star Museum program since 2011.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America. Each summer since 2010, Blue Star Museums have offered free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. The 2019 Blue Star Museums program will begin on Saturday, May 18, 2019, Armed Forces Day, and end on Monday, September 2, 2019, Labor Day.
