Lois Tomaszewski, Program Coordinator, will present a Gallery Talk on "Conservationist Movement of the Early 1900s" on Friday, April 1st, at 11 am in Ruthmere's game room. The conservation movement of the early 1900s was the predecessor of today's green movement. This presentation will look at how Ruthmere fits into the movement and the history of this early environmental awareness. Gallery Talks feature a twenty-minute discussion on an object/artwork within the Ruthmere collection or a person or event in local history.
Our Gallery Talks are sponsored by 1st Source Bank and are free and open to the public.
