Creek House Center
Creek House Center may be located close to downtown Elkhart (less than one-half mile), but when you're there, "city" is not the word that springs to mind. Two acres of rustic property beautifully nestled along Christiana Creek creates the perfect environment to relax with nature. Creek House, the oldest portion of which served as Ruthmere's original horse stables, was converted into a residence circa 1940 and sold off from the Beardsley family holdings. By 1942, the property had been converted and expanded into a lovely 5-bedroom home. Re-acquired in the 1970s by Ruthmere, it has served as the Director's residence until recently.
Available as a rental facility for private retreats, showers, overnight stays, and small group parties, Creek House Center offers an outstanding setting and location at reasonable rates. Call Campus Coordinator Carla Riley 574-264-0330 ext. 113 for more information on how to make your next gathering an unforgettable one at Creek House Center. Overnight lodging includes campus passes to Ruthmere attractions.
